The Pin

Modeled after HSNY’s vintage lapel pin, the modern pin signifies membership in America’s First Watchmaking Guild. The pin features HSNY’s logo with an hourglass superimposed on an escape wheel, and is included with all HSNY membership plans.

 

The Jacket

The 44th Street Jacket is an exceptional version of the famous City Hunter jacket made by The Armoury. It is made from a deep green wool cloth, and features a hidden watch pocket. The 44th Street Jacket is available for free to all HSNY members on the Gold level membership plan.**

 

The Tote

The 44th Street Tote is the perfect bag for a day out in the city, or an evening at a HSNY lecture. Made by The Armoury, the tote features a playful version of the famous HSNY logo. The 44th Street Tote is available for free to all HSNY members on the Gold and Silver level membership plans.**

Thank you for support of the Horological Society of New York, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your membership dues aid our organization’s goal of Advancing the Art and Science of Horology. All contributions, membership dues and donations are tax-deductible. Membership assistance is available based on need. No one will be turned away because of inability to pay. Free Bronze level memberships are available to all veterans. Free Bronze level memberships are available to all full-time students (duration of 4 years, with the possibility to extend based on length of studies). Please contact HSNY for more details. Gold level membership is $1,000 per year. To upgrade your membership plan, first create a new membership at the desired membership level and then cancel your previous membership. For tax deductibility purposes, the value of the pin is $5, the value of the tote is $65 and the value of the jacket is $750. Membership initiation fees are $4 for Bronze level membership, $44 for Silver level membership and $544 for Gold level membership.

  1. HSNY members who choose to opt in will receive an ongoing complimentary print subscription to HODINKEE Magazine. Members with active paid HODINKEE Magazine subscriptions can convert to a complimentary subscription. Available to HSNY members worldwide.

  2. HSNY members who choose to opt in will receive a complimentary digital subscription to GMT Magazine for 2024.

  3. HSNY members with a recurring membership plan who choose to opt in will receive an ongoing complimentary print subscription to Europa Star, plus one month of digital access to Europa Star’s archives dating back to 1936. A Europa Star magazine subscription is available to HSNY members worldwide.

  4. North America-based HSNY members who choose to opt in will receive a complimentary print and digital subscription to WatchTime Magazine for one year (six issues), plus access to WatchTime’s archive of issues dating back to 2000. HSNY international members can enjoy a complimentary one-year digital subscription, plus access to WatchTime's archives. A subscription is valid for one year from the opt-in date and is available to HSNY members worldwide.

  5. North America-based HSNY members who choose to opt in will receive a complimentary print subscription to Revolution Magazine for one year (five issues). HSNY international members can enjoy a complimentary one-year digital version.

**The Armoury redemption details are as follows:

HSNY and The Armoury have collaborated to produce a members-only jacket (referred to as the 44th Street Jacket) and a members-only tote bag (referred to as the 44th Street Tote). The 44th Street Jacket is available exclusively to HSNY members on the Gold membership plan. The 44th Street Tote is available to HSNY members on the Gold and Silver membership plans. The 44th Street Jacket is a customized version of The Armoury’s City Hunter Jacket, made from a deep green wool cloth. The jacket features a tweezer pocket on the chest, a watch pocket on the inside, and a custom label. The jacket is available in mens and womens versions and is available in all standard sizes. Due to high demand exceeding production capacity, delivery of the 44th St Jacket will be approximately four months.

To receive a jacket or tote bag, opt in on HSNY’s membership plan management portal. The Armoury will then contact you to arrange delivery. Only one jacket or tote bag may be redeemed, regardless of if a membership plan is frozen or restarted. The Armoury will check the individual's eligibility for the benefit before redemption. The jacket is free, but HSNY Gold and Silver members must pay shipping and taxes. Any exchanges will be handled directly between the member and The Armoury.

By opting in to membership benefits, you allow participating organizations access to your personal information for shipping and marketing purposes. Benefits are available only to members with active recurring memberships. The Horological Society of New York, Inc. owns the rights to any associated trademarks, and members may use such trademarks only with its express consent.
