An in-depth look at the terminology, theory and function of the Winding and Setting Mechanisms as well as the Energy Accumulator. Students disassemble the Setting and Winding Mechanisms of a watch movement as they learn about what goes into it's design and manufacture. They also take apart the Energy Accumulator (barrel) to see it's inner workings. At the end of the class the students reassemble the movement. Horology 101 andHorology 102 are the prerequisite for this class.
